Day 3 - Who is Julijs Straume?

The 3rd day we started with deepen knowledge about Latvian and Georgian culture. We done discussions in nationally mixed teams about the common and different things in Latvian and Georgian cultures. Together we tried to name the interactions between the two cultures.
After the lunch we had a presentation about the life of Julijs Straume. We had a task to create a short theater play about his life. One team had to make the play about his life in Paris and the other team created about his life in Georgia when he became a teacher.
In the evening we had a Brain Games: Cup of the Century with really fun sound effects. Both, Latvia and Georgia celebrated 100 years since independence last year. Participants had to find answers to questions related to both countries, their history and culture. The aim of the event was to create a shared sense of patriotism, celebrating the centenary of Latvia and Georgia in a different way. We were formed in 4 groups and later on there was created a new team called "Team Chuks". All teams performed well, but "Not lossers" won by one point.
Thank you for the 3rd day!!!
