What are Mosaics?

The main objective of the project is to collectively build a piece of mosaic using techniques of our experienced professional - Agnese.

What exactly is a Mosaic? Well, you probably have seen them many places around your town or around the world. From far away they look like paintings, but if you come closer you can see and admire the actual hard work and precision put in to the work, every piece has been touched and cut precisely to make the Mosaic. Every piece is crucial for the making of the piece of art.

Here's the official definition, provided by wiki:
mosaic is a piece of art or image made  from the assembling of small pieces of colored glass, stone, or other materials.
It is often used in decorative art or  as interior decoration. Most mosaics are  made of small, flat, roughly-squarepieces of stone or glass of different colors, known as tesserae. Some, especially floor mosaics, are made of small rounded pieces of stone, and called "pebble mosaics".
