Advance Planning Visit  (APV) in Rustavi / Tbilisi.

During the Advance Planned Meeting two leaders and two participants from each partner country took part in this transnational meeting for successful preparation before Youth Exchange “Imagination is the true magic carpet”. GYE additionally were supported with their 2 Latvian ESC volunteers Marite and Martins who recently works with them. 

First of all we were talking about activity programme for a YE and step by step discuss our tasks and homework for the next weeks – what responsibilities we should take, what games and entertainment we should prepare for participants and what information, materials do we need for great start and incredible final result – the mosaic based of Julijs Straume works.  

The second part of Advance Planning Visit included a trip to Tbilisi in order to visit Georgian Folk Art Museum where are introduced with Julijs Straume life in Georgia, his left culture heritage for Georgians and his two big, beautiful designed carpets!

His textile sketches, shapes, colors, the small details were around us, so we kept this impression and inspiration for the upcoming exchange.

After exploring the museum we had a good lunch and short walk around the city. Thanks to all leaders and participants for coming!
