Gamarjoba!

Time flies and our youth exchange has ended, summer is gone, and autumn is here, but we still miss Georgia and our friends. We wanted to share our memories and experience with others, so we organized event at Radi Vidi Pats office where we told stories about our adventures, about how we learned to dance Georgian dances, sing Georgian songs and how we hiked to Kazbegi…

Also, big part of getting better to know Georgian culture was trying out different kinds of Georgian food, so we invited two Georgian longterm volunteers to organize cooking workshop for us. (Ketia and Georgian culinary chef Giorgi). They both were teaching and showing us how to prepare the famous Georgian dumplings – khinkhali, and also khachapuri and lobiani. After the event one of our girls (Arta) put her newly gained skills in practice and impressed her family with khachapuri.

Big thanks to Georgi and Ketia. And for all those who came, listened our stories and participated in our cooking workshop.
All roads lead back to Georgia!

(We are practicing khinkhali making)
